Howdy! Laura is a senior studying Computer Science at Oregon State University, and she loves to code! She has been programming for 9 years, and has worked on all kinds of projects. She started out with Scratch, but now have experience in several different languages. If you are interested in building a website, using machine learning to analyze data, or designing a video game, she is here to help! She can also provide instruction on the more academic sides of programming. She has multiple years of tutoring experience in both computer science and other STEM subjects. She has most recently been a long-term substitute teacher for high school math. She loves project-based learning and believes the best way to learn is to try and fail and try again until mastery is achieved. In her free time, she likes to play video games, watch baseball (go Rangers!), and take her dogs for walks. She is so excited to meet all of you!
